National Donut Day began on the WWI frontlines when
The Salvation Army served fresh donuts to soldiers.
This June, we’ve teamed up with Lamar’s Donuts: a portion of donuts sold supports the Salvation Army veterans programs. So grab a donut, honor our legacy of care, and give back to those who served. Find a Lamar’s near you and learn more at LamarsDonutDay.org.
LaMar's Donuts and The Salvation Army have worked together to distribute donuts to local Veterans Affairs hospitals and other locations, bringing a sense of comfort and hope, especially during the darkest times for many soldiers.
Every dollar counts, and each donation is routed by ZIP code to help your local community.
Over 83% of all donations to The Salvation Army go right back into our neighborhoods through programs and services.
