Turn Donuts Into Impact

Friday, June 6 — Celebrate National Donut Day with the Intermountain Division. Grab a donut and give back to support veterans.

The History

National Donut Day, a beloved American holiday, originated from the compassionate efforts of The Salvation Army Donut Lassies during World War I. These brave women provided soldiers with donuts to boost morale and bring a taste of home to the front lines. In the spirit of their generosity, The Salvation Army continues to celebrate this tradition by spreading sweetness and joy to communities across the nation each year on Donut Day.

If you would like to support The Salvation Army and its programs that serve veterans and thousands of our most vulnerable neighbors every year, please consider donating!
